Monitor swivel is very loose with no way to tighten.

This is ALMOST a good product. It is very sturdy compared to cheaper mounts on Amazon. The base especially is an efficient and strong design. All the mounts and connections are able to be tightened to where they cannot move.That is, except for the swivel closest to the monitor; I am talking about the one that allows for clockwise and counterclockwise rotation of the monitor.It is simply a rivet that the mount rides on, and it is not tight at all. Imagine a fidget spinner and you will be pretty close to the rotational resistance of the monitor mount. There was room to put in a short screw and nut here, but they didn't. I can't get the monitor straight because - and I am not exaggerating here - the weight of the loose monitor power cord rotates the monitor. A quick disclaimer: I do have a rather large monitor but it is well under the 42" and 22 lb limit.So, this monitor stand will be going in the trash because of one serious design flaw in an otherwise acceptable product.

Probably the easiest tv install I ever did. Mount assembly was extremely easy. My desk monitor was up In less then 20 mins . Only wish the pole was like 2 inches taller
