Need more than 5.5lbs monitor/TV to use pneumatic arm!!!!!

Would be five stars but I had to add 5 extra lbs to the monitor to get the pneumatic arm to stay decompressed.It claims its 5.5lbs minimum, but its about a little over double that amount.Other than that... Super easy to install (compared to other TV/Monitor mounts)Very study, the construction of this mount is very solid!Great little cable management feature that I didn't notice when I ordered!HUGE range of motion.I definitely recommend this mount.I will change to five stars if they update the minimum weight requirement.

This was pretty easy to install. All parts and tools needed were included. Side to side, tilt, and in / out motion is very good and not too free. The up/down motion is VERY stiff to move, but doe not stay in position. Tried adjusting, but no luck. This isn't an issue for us, as this will normally be used at the same height regardless of the distance from the wall of swivel angle.Note: We didn't need the extension arms for the TV side mounting, so can't comment on how those worked.

Sturdy and versatile

I was able to mount a 43" TV in a corner so when deployed it is 45 degrees to the walls. When stowed it lays flat against a wall and out of the way. It's articulation is solid and positive enough that I am comfortable with it on the boat where it's installed.

About Product
MOUNT-VW04G is a fully articulating gas spring TV wall mount from VIVO featuring simple assembly and fluid movement for easy screen positioning. The height of the screen can be adjusted up or down within a 12.5" range. This sturdy deluxe mount is 4 times strength tested with a weight capacity of 44 lbs (minimum weight of screen must be over 5.5 lbs) and holds TV sizes 26" to 55". The minimum weight requirement for this stand is 5.5 lbs. Features include +15 to -15 degree screen tilt and +90 to -90 degree TV swivel for creating maximum viewing angles, and an internal cable management system to conceal power and video cords. Mount collapses flat against the wall for a low profile and when fully extended sits 24" from the wall. This is compatible with most brand TVs and fits VESA 100x100, 200x100, 200x200, 300x300, 400x200 and 400x400. Comes with common mounting hardware.
