Looks used; subpar workmanship

Received just the metal mount by itself in a box with brown packing paper and no other protective packing material. There were no screws, hardware, or instructions. The mount has multiple small scratches in the paint and a few small rips in the foam like it has been previously used. The frame itself is not perfectly square. It is a little twisted with less than 90 degree angles on the welds. Fortunately for the seller, these annoyances are not enough for me to send it back as it does the job, but future buyers beware if you are expecting a premium product, you will be disappointed.

This is the one you want

Sadly, I only discovered this amazing pc mount after buying a much worse design first. Learn from my mistake, this is the one you want; it'll fit virtually any PC tower and it isn't gonna bend or sag under the weight. It's built extremely well, and looks very professional when installed.

A minus design

The ease of installation is pretty good. If you're looking for something "inexpensive" and quick, this is a good option. I would have paid 20 dollars more for a tight fit with the tubing, real bolts instead of those knobs, and instead of the click-in buttons for height adjustment, I think they should have also used set screws as they did at the top. It does get loose at the extremes of fitment. Set screws may have helped or prevented that. You can find all this at your local hardware store.Use a drill with clutch settings to avoid stripping the holes, use better wood screws for heavy PCs (I use torx-head lag screws), predrill the holes into the wood if you're using real wood desks (butcher block or similar so it doesn't split). Make sure to depth-mark the drill bit so you don't drill through your desk.. I did like the heavy plate they used. It allows me to easily drill additional holes for more screws in the future.Use a square for the correct alignment. I thank the designer for using a metal bender so well. The edges are clean and square and allows for accurate alignment. The "pattern" piece of paper for marking holes is useless, it's easier to strip down the PC mount and mark holes directly than dealing with a bent, floppy piece of paper. Lastly, throw away those knobs and get M6x12 or M6x16 bolts. This will give you an additional half inch of height in the mount, and also allows you to put a wrench on the bolt and tighten them for real. Don't over-tighten though... It's only an 1/8th inch of threads!Vivo has pleasantly surprised me as a brand. I will refer my friends with similar needs.

Best underdeveloped mount

I have used several under desk mounts but I will say this is the only one I will ever use moving forward. It's very easy to install and is extremely sturdy.

pads could be larger

have a massive computer and could not find anything to fit my needs. Was able to squeeze this under my Table in about 9inches of space. The pads could be larger on the side, especially if you have a glass panel.overall I would buy this again, finally no more issues with my standing desk.
