Adequate for home use

I ordered a white kit by mistake the first time. It was easily returned and allowed me to preview the product. The plastic is a little thin but went ahead and ordered the black kit since I felt it is one of the better kits on Amazon. I spent some time to determine placement and ended up installing it so that it is fully behind a file cabinet which I have on either side of a 6' wide desk. Installation was simple by attaching to the underside of the desk with two screws. I broke a tab on the section that locks into the base so the length is now about 2" shorter than shipped. At the desk's full height, which is just under 50", the base barely comes off the floor. Had I not broken the one section, the base would remain on the floor. It looks good, is very flexible and contains cables well. This kit should do the job just fine in a home environment. I would consider something more robust for a professional or industrial setting.

A must-have for standing desk cable management

This is the best thing I've seen for handling cable runs from desktop to floor with an adjustable height desk. It's reasonably priced, works well, and is safer and better looking than a bundle of hanging cords.I have 2x power cords (desk and power strip that has montior, PC, etc on it), a CAT7 ethernet cable, 2x speaker wires, and a pre-amp line in mine and there's tons of extra room. I really like that it has 4 separate cable channels so that you can separate things that might experience cross-talk like power and speaker wires.

Works very well

If you can get past the drop shipping crappy plastic bag packaging that is just terrible, then once your past that, this product is actually very good and I am happy with it. That's why it gets the 5 stars with no penalty rating on the packaging. It does the job very well and makes everything look neat and tidy with a cool look I wanted to go for.

Works exactly as you’d hope

I had to find a new way to manage cables when I upgraded to a sit/stand desk, as my hard plastic cable management “raceway” wouldn’t work any longer. I also wanted to avoid using a neoprene sleeve, as they collect dust and are impossible to clean.I stumbled across a picture showing one of these “vertebrae” style things and figured it was worth a shot. I did some digging and decided the VIVO product seemed like the best option. I got everything setup and I am extremely satisfied with the results. There are a couple of things I’d note:1. It feels like the plastic could break if you put too much pressure trying to get a thick cable inside one of the 4 sections. I was happy that it did not break, but I’d recommend taking your time and not brute-forcing a cable inside.2. Don’t put all of your cables in just 1 of the 4 sections. Try to alternate sections so you keep the tension of the cables distributed, otherwise your “vertebrae” may push out to one side.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it.
