Ketchup Or Mustard
When I was a kid growing up in New York life was a lot easier than it is now. One of the few things that I learned in childhood, that I thought would never throw me a curve ball, was that mustard was for hot dogs and ketchup was for hamburgers. It was an unwritten law. But everybody knew what they were suppose to do when it was time to apply condiments to their food.
Somewhere, somehow, between the time I was a kid and now somebody changed the rules. Everywhere I go I see people disregarding and disrespecting the rules.
They are putting mustard on hamburgers (it almost makes me gag to write it) and ketchup on hot dogs.
They act like it is perfectly normal and let's face it patriotic. I have a sneaking suspicion that these people that are playing a "sight of hand" game with the condiments are communist. That's right, communist. Believe me it is no coincidence that ketchup is RED!!

I think your right, unfortunately I do not follow the rule. I like ketchup on my hot dog as well as my burger. I like mustard on both also. Its funny that you mention communists tho, because my father used to always call us kids communists for putting ketchup on hot dogs. I always just took it as joking, but I think he was serious.
