A Large Pizza And Bring The Police
I read a comment on another blog that asked this question:
If you order a pizza to be delivered and call the police to come to your house to check out suspicious activity, who would show up first?

- The pizza place gives you a 30 minute guarantee or the pizza is free!
- I'm pretty sure the police won't refund your tax money if they show up late.
The point that is being made is, that without negative consequences for poor customer service, you will never obtain superior customer service.
You would think that the government would have figured this out a long time ago. Maybe they have figured it out but just don't care. You think?
