The World's Most Sought After Interview----Part Two

Mass Media Tribune

You just said that, "Cash Is King."  To an extent that is a cliché.  How deeply do you believe that cash is king and how far would you pursue a liquidation of your portfolio to ensure that you had substantial cash reserves?

The Masked Millionaire

Let me first say that cash, especially in rocky economic times, really is king.  Listen, there is only one way for a person to take advantage of a downturn in the all of the markets like we are seeing today and that is by buying assets at a cost basis that is lower than their true value.  The only way you can do that is buy making cash on the barrel head offers.  Like the saying goes, "Money talks....BS walks."  Some people will interpret this  type of strategy as taking advantage of people when they are down.  But they are wrong.  Is it better to get fifty cents on the dollar for your assets or zero?

I would be willing to liquidate parts of my portfolio to build up a substantial cash reserve for asset  purchases as long as I wouldn't have to take a loss.  I have the means to wait out a downturn in the markets or even a recession.  But there are always deals to be made.  Of course the deal would have to make sense.  No need to sell in order to get cash simply for the sake of having cash.  There needs to be a reason that makes sense.

How do you see the current political climate in this country affecting the average Joe on the street?

The Masked Millionaire

I disdain both political parties.  Any thinking person over the age of 30 would have to come to the conclusion, through experience, that politics and politicians are not worth the garbage chute they arrived on.  They are all liars.  The only thing that they really care about is getting your vote and spending taxpayers money.

During this years presidential election you will hear the same issues being discussed that were discussed 40 years ago.  Our elected officials really have no clue on how to solve the problems of this country.  It is easy to talk about them during an election year but much harder to act on the mechanisms that need to be in place for the problems to be solved.

My advice is to ignore all of them.  It doesn't matter who wins the election.  Don't waste your time on people that won't spend their time on you.

Mass Media Tribune

What would your advice be to someone just starting out?

The Masked Millionaire

It is always hard to answer that question because everybody is different.  It really depends on what your goals are.  Not everybody seeks to be rich.   Some people want to dedicate their lives to social work, which is just fine.

I would say some universal advise would be to get a good solid education, read a lot, treat people as you would like to be treated, and always eat breakfast.

Thank you for your time.  We hope that we might be able to do this again sometime in the future.

The Masked Millionaire

Thank You.
